Beautiful windows
2021
Wooden canvas frame, beeswax
Frame size: 910 x 1167 mm

I scratched the surfaces of a canvas frame and poured beeswax over. After the wax hardened, the surfaces were flattened again. Then, the canvas frame stretched a thin cotton clothe, and beeswax was melted by ironing heat and soaked in the clothe.

Wood shavings from scratching the surface of the canvas frame were placed at its feet.

This work was exhibited at “Beautiful windows” at Room_412, Tokyo.

I've heard "paintings are windows".

Those are longings and subjects of anger for me.

I don't know how many times I've tried to make a painting with oil colors.
However, I've defeated because several spells bound me.

Paintings fascinate me with every elements, but I respond them by disassembling and reconstructing.

Please given me to touch windows.
This act will be continuing while I become face to paintings correctly.
